Hands for Christ has a burden for the lost and a deep commitment for telling the world about Jesus through the printed Word. This calling to reach the lost souls with the Word birthed Hands for Christ into existence on November 10, 1969. The ministry began with the distribution of bumper stickers and tracts but soon the Lord increased the vision to Christian material that was donated from all over the United States.

During this end-time harvest, there are a large number of souls being won for the Kingdom and we find there are not always enough teachers able to mentor new converts in the ways of the Lord Jesus Christ. Once a new convert comes into the fold, he or she needs direction on how to become more Christ-like and how to mature in Christ. Having a library nearby where a person can study and access materials to grow strong spiritually is a major key in a personal relationship with Christ.
